Great pictures. I started this hike on July 29. When I jumped the ZizZag river, my boot wedged between two rocks on the bank-landing and i fell forward, wrenching my knee. Bad luck. i had no idea i injured it so continued up and almost made it to the Sandy when I discovered i could not hike downhill without screaming pain. I spent the night in the woods and turned around and hiked BACK UP the mountain. When i reached higher elevation, I filled a ziplock bag with snow and made an icepack. I strapped it to my knee and hiked back to Timberline. Thanks for the pix. I look forward to seeing the rest of the trail to Eagle Creek, my destination had i not been injured.
