Be "the man" with the biggest rod on bank! Launch that cannonball sinker out into the middle of the channel and get to the big fish. Don't be the guy with the flaccid little rod, who can't "get out far enough". The Shakespeare Alpha BWS 1310A Big Water is the rod for the REAL man!
You NEED this Rod!
I'm willing to part with my Shakespeare Alpha BWS 1310A Big Water for Only $150, which is a smoking deal! However, if you have something cool that you're willing to trade, I'm open to discussion, my email is summoner7@yahoo.com. Email me TODAY, because if you don't, someone else will get YOUR rod!
Now that you're interested, here's the background on the Shakespeare Alpha BWS 1310A Big Water. It's not sold in stores anymore, as it came out in 1987 (Retro!) where it was used for surf casting striped bass (big fish!) at the coast near Lincoln City. I bought it at his garage sale in Siletz three years ago (its owner was getting up there in years) with the intent to bring it up to the Columbia River or the Willamette River to plunk for sturgeon or salmon, but I haven't used it yet. In addition to the Columbia, this rod would also be perfect for fishing "The Wall" in Oregon City, as I've seen a few guys using rods very similar to this one.
The Shakespeare Alpha BWS 1310A Big Water is a 3-piece, 14 foot, Graphite Composite Spinning Rod with Medium Action in an eye-catching gray and navy blue. The largest eyelet on the rod folds away for easy storage.
Of course, this rod was for sale in 1987, and I can't find any on eBay or Amazon or anywhere, so to take a stab at how much one of these is worth, I've had to check out these affiliate sites:
